The Bulls Masters has continued their partnership with Outback Futures with the recent tour of Emerald. Legends of cricket such as Jimmy Maher, Michael Kasprowicz, Darren Lehmann, Jeff Thomson, Carl Rackemann and Andrew Symonds have all been passionate supporters of Outback Futures who provide mental health support through remote and Regional Queensland.
The cricketers visited schools in Blackwater, Clermont and Emerald to run cricket clinics with students and then supported the WWCB School Cup and the Battle of the Bush High School Match that was held in Emerald.
A Sportsman’s Dinner was held to raise money for Outback Futures and the Central Highlands Cricket Association which had Michael Kasprowicz, Darren Lehmann and Jeff Thomson provide the entertainment by speaking about their illustrious careers.
On Saturday the 13th of September, The Bulls Masters played against a very talented Central Highlands XI at the Emerald Showgrounds. The hard fought game was won by the Bulls Masters with the local side struggling to handle the spin of Cameron Boyce, Nathan Hauritz and Darren Lehmann.
The day was more than just a game with a high development clinic, a kids super-clinic and a coaching forum being held to help guide the local talent.
