Big Merv joined the Bulls Masters in Mount Isa for our annual tour during the Rodeo season. Every year we head up to the Regional Queensland mining town to support our major corporate partner, CNW Electrical Wholesale, who run an electrical roadshow for their suppliers and customers.
Merv Hughes was the main attraction, joining us from Melbourne to entertain the intimate crowd at the sportsmans dinner held at the Red Earth Hotel. MC Pat Welsh asked Merv about his career on and off the cricket field and with Merv, we keep his stories strictly in-house for sensorship reasons… So if you didn’t make it, trust us, you missed out!
Gavin Fitness and Nathan Reardon then went into the schools to run clinics and support the Queensland Cricket programs that were running in Mount Isa during the week.
Jimmy Maher and Ken Healy dropped into Life Flight to meet the crew and run their eye over the important set-up that does such important life-saving work across the state.
CNW are the major sponsors of the “Mailman Express” which is a horse race so all hands were on deck to support the day and mingle with all their guests!
