Dirk Tazelaar Medal Winner 2021

Jake Roach scooped the coveted pewter mug and Dirk Tazelaar medal for his stellar tournament. Roach scored 96 runs (67) in the semi-final to cement the award.

Earlier he scored 11 (8) and 2/15 vs Wide Bay, 4 runs vs Darling Downs, and 106* (63) against the Mackay/Whitsundays Nitros with a couple of brilliant catches to go with it.

Overall, Roach was the leading run-scorer by some way, scoring 217 runs at an average of 72.33 and a strike rate of 155. He also took 3 wickets at an average of 23.
