It’s no wonder the Bulls Masters and CNW Electrical Wholesale have been partners since our foundation year in 2010. The synergies are strong between the two entities, who both have a strong ethos of supporting Regional Queensland communities. The Western Queensland tour is a journey that serves to help everyone… a genuine win-win-win. The Bulls Masters win because we get to spread our love of cricket by getting exposure to small town markets such as Goondiwindi, St George, Charleville and Roma. CNW wins because they bring their suppliers into the markets to show off their new equipment that can serve the electricians and tradesmen in the West… and of course the community wins.

Former Queensland Cricket legends, Joe Dawes and Nathan Reardon represented the Bulls Masters. The tour began in Toowoomba and we dropped in to the Allora Sports Hall of Fame to donate a signed Bulls Masters bat. Next stop was Goondiwindi where we had a trade show before winding through Mungindi and Nindigully on the way to St George the next day. CNW go out of their way to stop in at any town where a customer wants to see their suppliers and the caravan of cars pull in and get out and show their equipment anywhere!

St George State High School is always a delight to visit and run some clinics, and the Bulls Masters got to train the young talent in Charleville too. There were so many people throughout the stops on the tour who got to chat and get some tips from Joe and Nathan.

The most popular stop on the tour is always just out of Cunnamulla, where we pull over in the red earth of the outback to have a friendly game of cricket with the suppliers. Joey Dawes came off the long run but Nicole from LedVance managed to get him away to the boundary!

The Charleville and Roma trade shows were the most busy ones as the weekend snuck closer and the local customers were more inclined to come out and enjoy the trade shows with that famous CNW hospitality.
At the end of the week, we’d covered over 2200 kilometres and seen hundreds of happy faces. We’d shared many meals and made lots of friends with the wider CNW network through Western Queensland. This is important work for both the Bulls Masters and CNW who value the Regional Queensland towns that are the heartbeat of the state!
