Lockyer Valley Tour Postponed!

The Bulls Masters uncanny knack of bringing rain to drought-stricken regions of Queensland has continued with the Lockyer Valley being inundated with heavy falls in the past week. So much so that the tour which was originally intended for this weekend, 14-15 of February has been postponed due to the wet condition of the playing field. The Tour will still go ahead with the sportsman’s dinner now scheduled for Friday, April 17 and the game for Saturday April 18.

The Bulls Masters tour of Emerald last year famously coincided with the drought-stricken region’s first major downpour in years and the same is happening in many parts of the Southern Downs, including the Lockyer Valley.

“We’re thrilled that the Lockyer Valley has received some much-needed rain and we hope some of the growers and graziers are feeling much better about the outlook”, Bulls Masters Managing Director, Jimmy Maher said.

“We know that there are still many farmers who are doing it tough in this region of Queensland and we’ll continue to pray for them”, Maher added.

More information will be released in the coming weeks about the new details of the Lockyer Valley Tour which has officially been locked in for April 17/18.
